How Time Tracking Works

Page Time:

  • Tracks when the browser tab is active

  • Pauses when visitor switches tabs or windows

  • Resumes when they return to your page

Section Time:

  • Only counts when the section is visible AND the mouse is active in that section

  • Provides true engagement metrics

  • Helps identify which content resonates most

This intelligent tracking means a 5-minute visit with 3 minutes of section time indicates highly engaged reading, while 5 minutes with 30 seconds of section time suggests scanning behavior.

Accessing Page Analytics

From Contact View

  1. Navigate to any contact in RevvedUp

  2. Click the Overview tab

  3. Under each campaign, you'll see Page View Analytics

  4. Click any visit to see detailed analytics

Visit Details Sidebar

The right sidebar provides quick access to visitor information while you analyze their behavior:

Visit Details Essential information about the visitor including when they visited, how long they stayed, their location, and technical details like device and browser type. This context helps you understand who your visitors are and how they're accessing your content.

Visit Recording See a video recording of the exact visit the prospect had on your page. If there's more than one visit, you'll see left and right arrows so you can see all of them.

Gives you a sense on where they are clicking on and what they are engaging with.

Visit Duration A breakdown showing how much time was spent in each section of your page. This reveals which content captures attention and where visitors lose interest, helping you understand what resonates with your audience.

Using UTM Parameters

Track campaign effectiveness by adding UTM parameters to your page URLs:
