RevvedUp’s Trial Onboarding Guide

Welcome to RevvedUp! This guide will walk you through the key steps to get your first campaign running. We recommend completing these in order over your first few days.

Once you’ve read this, you're ready to dive right in! (All the links below take you to the relevant section of our user docs).

Day 1: Build Your Foundation (1-2 hours)

Start in the GTM Playbookarrow-up-right section:

  1. Edit your Seller Profilearrow-up-right - Edit what you sell (product), key benefits (how this benefits your customers), logo, brand colours, etc. (these are auto-generated by AI in your initial account set-up)

  2. Define Your ICPsarrow-up-right - Add your Ideal Customer Profiles (firmographic data) describing your target companies (industry, size, geography). Attach them to your Seller Profile

  3. Add Personasarrow-up-right - Create your buyer personas (Professional/Job-related data) for the roles you typically sell to. Include their challenges, goals, and how your product helps them. Attach them to your Seller Profile.

  4. You can ignore, Resources, Testimonials, Revveal, Wisdom and Variables for now. These can be tackled as you get more familiar with the tool.

Day 2: Create Your First Sequence & Campaign (1-2 hours)

Read the Sequencesarrow-up-right section in our Knowledge Base and follow the steps to locate and copy the ‘FREE TRIAL’ sequence template:

  1. Search for ‘FREE TRIAL’ in the search box (it should also be the first sequence in the list)

  2. Click the three dots on the right hand side of the sequence listing you would like to use

  3. Click Duplicate template and name it something memorable

Read the Campaignsarrow-up-right section in our Knowledge Base and follow the steps to create your first campaign:

  1. Create a new campaign and follow the instructions to link your sequence and any associated page templates (we don’t recommend using pages at this stage)

  2. When prompted to add contacts, we recommend only adding ~5-10 test contacts via CSV upload or manual entry. Include email addresses and preferably LinkedIn URLs for best results.

  3. Set automation level - start with "Enrich + Research + Generate" to see the full AI workflow (for larger contact lists, we recommend enrich and research only because, you should only generate content for accounts/contacts that have a sufficient score)

  4. Click "Process" and wait for the AI to enrich, research and generate personalised content for each contact .

  5. Review the generated sequences and content in the content review screen. Edit anything that needs tweaking.

Day 3: Update your GTM Playbook (1-2 hours)

Add additional information to your GTM Playbook to help the AI learn more about your business.

  • Add Resourcesarrow-up-right: Add your most popular blog posts, white papers/reports or webinars that are relevant to your ICP/Personas.

  • Add Testimonialsarrow-up-right - Add as many customer quotes or case study details as possible, preferably those that are related to your ICP and/or personas. The AI uses these to add social proof to your outreach.

  • Rerun the research and content generation for your test contacts in your previously set up campaign - note the difference in the content generated.

Day 4: Personalise Revveal - your AI research agent (1-2 hours)

Imagine you had endless time to perform desktop research on your accounts, contacts and their related industries. What would you look for? What signals would be useful for your sales outreach? What would be useful to know before you emailed or phoned them up?

That’s what Revveal - your AI research agent - does for you.

Be sure to take your time, this part can seem complex

Create/customise your own Revveal (research) Promptsarrow-up-right: Use our templated options and customise them or create your own from scratch.

Day 5: Familiarise yourself with Wisdom and Variables (30 minutes)

Read about Wisdomarrow-up-right and Variablesarrow-up-right - No need to set these up quite yet. These are used to help educate or refine specific points within a campaign. We would suggest using them a little further down the line.

Day 6: Create your first landing page template (15 mins)

Read the Landing Pagearrow-up-right section in our Knowledge Base and follow the steps to locate and copy the ‘FREE TRIAL’ landing page template:

  • Search for ‘FREE TRIAL’ in the search box (it should also be the first sequence in the list)

  • Click the three dots on the right hand side of the sequence listing you would like to use

  • Click Clone template and name it something memorable

  • Click ‘Publish’

  • You can now link this page to sequences and/or campaigns

Day 7: Connect your sending account (15 mins)

To send emails from the platform, you’ll need to connect at least one email sending account that emails will be sent from to your contacts. This could be your own email address or someone else in the sales or marketing team.
