Question Configuration

Core Fields

Short Text: Name of the question / search query.

Prompt: Use { to add Variable, Snippet, or CRM field. Use < to add Revveal tag.

Reasoning: Describe how the AI should reason about the answer.

Output Format: Any additional formatting instructions to consider before answering the question.

Numeric Range Constraints (for Numeric Output Format):

When you select "Numeric" as the output format, you can optionally define a range to constrain AI responses:

  • Minimum Value: Minimum acceptable value (optional)

    • If only maximum is set, minimum defaults to 0

    • Example: For a percentage score, set minimum to 0

  • Maximum Value: Maximum acceptable value (optional)

    • If minimum is set, maximum must also be set

    • Example: For a percentage score, set maximum to 100

How it works:

  • AI receives explicit instructions to return values within your defined range

  • Values outside the range result in "Unknown" responses

  • Useful for constraining scores, percentages, ratings, or other bounded metrics

Example use cases:

  • Employee headcount ranges (50 to 500)

  • Percentage scores (0 to 100)

  • Rating scales (1 to 10)

  • Revenue ranges (1000000 to 50000000)

Custom Output Instructions: Any additional information or guidance on how to answer the question.
