Important Note
⚠️ Templates lock after processing begins - Once you've processed contacts, templates cannot be changed to maintain consistency.
What Happens When Templates Change
If you modify templates while content generation is in progress:
Existing generated content - Remains unchanged and uses the original template version
Content being generated - Will use the updated template (may result in inconsistency)
Tracking changes - It becomes very difficult to determine:
Exactly when templates were modified
Which contacts used which template version
What the original values were
Best Practice: Wait until all processing is complete before making template changes, or create a new campaign for significant template updates to maintain consistency across all contacts.
