Step-by-step guide to creating and configuring campaigns in RevvedUp.
Creating a campaign in RevvedUp is a guided process that ensures you have everything configured for successful outreach. This guide walks you through each step of campaign creation.

Make sure you have:
A Seller Profile configured
Sequence templates identified or created
Page templates ready (optional)
Your prospect list prepared
Creating a New Campaign
Step 1: General Information
Navigate to Campaigns and click New Campaign to start.
Campaign Name
Give your campaign a descriptive name that helps you identify it later.
Example: "Q1 Enterprise Security Outreach"
Tip: Include date, target market, or objective
Description (Optional)
Add notes about the campaign's purpose, target audience, or strategy.
Helps team members understand the campaign
Useful for tracking different approaches
Can include success metrics or goals
Campaign Type
Choose between two types based on your objective:
Outbound Campaign
For proactive outreach to new prospects
Finds and verifies email addresses
Ideal for cold outreach and pipeline building
Typically uses text for output format
Sent from dedicated cold email outboxes
Best for: Target account campaigns, new market expansion
Inbound Campaign
For nurturing prospects who've engaged with you
Preserves existing contact information
Ideal for warm leads and follow-up
Can use HTML or text for format
Safe to send from primary domain
Best for: Webinar attendees, demo requests, content downloads
Seller Profile
Select which seller profile to use:
Determines the "voice" of your outreach
Includes company information and value propositions
Cannot be changed after adding contacts
Create profiles in Content Settings
Step 2: Sequence Configuration
Sequence Template Selection
Choose the messaging framework for your campaign:
Templates define email structure and timing
Each has a specific objective and approach
May automatically select a matching page template
Review template details before selecting
What to Consider:
Message count and cadence
Target persona alignment
Call-to-action strategy
Industry or use-case focus
Step 3: Page Configuration (Optional)
Page Template Selection
Landing pages provide personalized experiences:
Automatically suggested based on sequence template
Can be changed or removed as needed
Each prospect gets their own customized page
Pages track visitor engagement
When to Use Pages:
Complex solutions requiring explanation
Visual demonstrations or demos
Multiple resources to share
Premium offerings or high-ticket items
Pages can be configured to generate and send as part of the sequence. They can also be listed as the generic follow-up page that will be used when we get a response.
Resource Selection
Resources are determined by slots configured in your sequence and page templates. For each slot, you can:
Single Resource Selection
Choose one specific resource when you know exactly what to share
This resource will be used for all contacts
Best for universal content like company overviews
Multiple Resource Selection
Select several resources and let AI choose the best fit
AI analyzes each prospect's research to pick the most relevant option
Ideal for industry-specific content or role-based materials
Resource Types Available:
Links: External articles or tools
PDFs: Whitepapers, case studies, guides
Videos: Product demos, testimonials
Documents: Proposals, one-pagers
Learn how to create and manage resources in Resources Settings.
Override Options:
Resources can be overridden per contact during CSV upload
Use specific column headers to assign custom resources
Helpful for account-specific materials or personalized content
The AI selection process considers:
Prospect's industry and role
Company size and challenges
Research findings from enrichment
Best match for maximum relevance
Step 4: CRM Configuration
CRM Integration
Connect your campaign to your CRM for seamless data flow.
If CRM is Connected:
CRM Lists: Select lists to import contacts from
Update Frequency: How often to sync data
Hourly: For fast-moving campaigns
Daily (recommended): Balance of freshness and efficiency
Weekly/Monthly: For slower nurture campaigns
Push to CRM: Enable to sync engagement data back
If No CRM Connected:
You'll see options to connect HubSpot or Salesforce
Can still create campaigns and import via CSV
CRM sync can be enabled later
Note: Contacts imported from CRM lists will automatically sync back after processing. Manually added contacts require a one-time push before automatic sync begins. Learn more in CRM Sync.
Step 5: Automation Settings
Configure how RevvedUp processes your contacts:
Automation Level
Choose your automation preference:
None
Manual control over all processing
Good for testing or special handling
Requires manual triggering of each step

Test with small contact batches
Increase automation as you gain confidence
Scale what works
Template Alignment
Match templates to your audience
Ensure sequence and page templates complement each other
Consider the buyer journey stage
Test different combinations
Resource Quality
Only include highly relevant resources
Keep content fresh and updated
Track which resources drive engagement
Less is often more
