Revveal Overview

AI-powered Q&A system for custom prospect research.

Revveal is RevvedUp's AI-powered Q&A system that answers custom questions about your prospects, enabling deeper personalization and more relevant outreach. It works alongside Company Analysis to provide comprehensive research on every account.

What is Revveal?

Revveal allows you to ask specific questions about prospects and companies, with AI researching multiple sources including websites, financial documents, and public data to provide detailed answers. Instead of generic data points, you get answers to the questions that matter most for your sales process.

Below is a video, also found in Revveal Questions on how to complete the set-up and how Revveal is used across the platform.

Example Questions

  • "What are this company's main products?"

  • "Who are their typical customers?"

  • "Who are their top competitors?"

  • "How many followers do they have on Instagram?"

  • "Find 20 of the most recent reviews about their company"

  • "What were their key financial metrics last year?"

Financial Document Analysis

Revveal can analyze public company financial documents:

  • 10K Reports - Annual financial statements

  • Earnings Reports - Quarterly results

  • Investor Presentations - Strategic initiatives

  • SEC Filings - Material changes and risks

This enables questions like:

  • "What was their revenue growth last year?"

  • "What are their main revenue streams?"

  • "What risks do they disclose in their 10K?"

  • "What strategic initiatives are they pursuing?"

Question Dependencies & Chaining

Create sophisticated research flows where later questions build on earlier answers:

  • Sequential research - Each answer provides context for the next

  • Progressive depth - Start broad, then analyze specific findings

  • Strategic insights - Transform raw data into actionable intelligence

  • Mixed sources - Combine Internet search with internal context for complete analysis

Example chain:

  • "Research the recent reviews for the company" (uses Internet source)

  • "Look through the reviews and find the three most negative reviews" (analyzes previous answer)

  • "What's a really strong angle we could use given this information?" (builds on negative reviews, uses Seller Context)

This chain moves from data collection → analysis → strategic application.

CRM Integration

Revveal answers sync seamlessly to your CRM:

  • Automatic field mapping - Answers become CRM properties

  • Custom field creation - Each question maps to a field

  • Real-time updates - Sync as answers are generated

  • Searchable data - Filter and segment by answers

This enables:

  • Sales teams to see research in CRM

  • Marketing to segment by answers

  • Reporting on research insights

  • Triggering CRM workflows

Best Practices

Question Strategy

  • Start with 3-5 key questions to avoid overwhelm

  • Test questions on known companies first

  • Iterate based on answer quality

  • Align questions with sales process

  • Update periodically as needs change

Effective Question Design

Good Questions:

  • "What was their revenue last year?" (specific, findable)

  • "What are their main product offerings?" (factual)

  • "Who are their key executives?" (public info)

  • "What initiatives have they announced?" (observable)

Poor Questions:

  • "Will they buy from us?" (predictive)

  • "What's their budget?" (private)

  • "How do employees feel?" (subjective)

  • "What are their internal plans?" (confidential)

Example of Revveal Question Set-Up

Here's a video with a quick overview of the fields below.

Short text: Evaluate buyer’s near-term purchase readiness from seller

Prompt: You need to evaluate all of the information provided and make a decision on how likely it is that <buyer> is ready to buy from <seller> in the near future.

Reasoning: You are going to act as a strategic consultant to make some difficult, analytical decisions based on a large amount of complex, unstructured data.

First, carefully read through the following sources:

<personalization-strategy>

<company-summary-overview>

<contact>

<revveal-industry-news>

<revveal-initiatives>

<revveal-earnings-call>

<revveal-strategic-priorities-mapping>

Now you need to weigh up all of this information, and make a decision about how well matched this <buyer> is to the <seller>, and if there are any signals in the resources that would indicate they are more or less likely to be in need of the services they offer.

It's extremely important you show clear reasoning for why you reach your conclusion as important decisions will be made on the back of your decision.

Do not be an optimist. If anything, be sceptical because we don't want to waste resources on leads who are not really a strong fit.

Output Format: Text

Custom Output Instructions: Show all of your reasoning in detail, and then provide a final score of 1-10, with 1 being the lowest fit and intent score, and 10 being the best fit with highest intent.

Note: By adding instructions within the Prompt for AI to read through any resources: Example: <revveal-industry-news>, it provides additional guidance and an order through which the research process should be followed.
