The AI Text Block

Generate unique, personalized content for every contact using AI-powered text blocks.

AI Text Blocks are RevvedUp landing page's most powerful personalization feature. They generate completely unique content for each contact based on their industry, role, company, and your specific instructions.

AI Text Blocks are only available on the page template. They get replaced when you generate content for a contact.

What Are AI Text Blocks?

Unlike template variables that simply insert data, AI Text Blocks create entirely new content:

  • Template variables: Hi {{BUYER.CONTACT.FIRST_NAME}}Hi John

  • AI Text Blocks: Generate unique paragraphs, lists, or complete sections tailored to each contact

When to Use AI Text Blocks

Perfect For ✅

  • Industry-specific messaging: Tailored value props

  • Role-based content: Speak to their priorities

  • Company research summaries: Recent news, initiatives

  • Problem/solution matching: Address their pain points

  • Benefit lists: Relevant to their situation

  • Case study selection: Similar companies

Not Ideal For ❌

  • Factual data: Use template variables instead

  • Legal text: Needs human review

  • Pricing: Should be consistent

  • Technical specs: Must be accurate

  • Contact info: Use real data

Writing Effective Prompts

Prompt Best Practices

1. Focus on Content, Not Format

Good: "Explain how our tool saves time for {{BUYER.CONTACT.ROLE}}
in their daily workflow"

Note: The AI automatically knows:

  • How many items to generate (from your min/max settings)

  • What format to use (paragraph, list, header)

  • The list style (bulleted, numbered, Q&A, etc.)

2. Use Available Variables

Good: "As a {{BUYER.ACCOUNT.INDUSTRY}} company, explain 2 specific
challenges {{BUYER.ACCOUNT.NAME}} faces with data management"

Bonus points for pulling in research found from Revveal as part of variables or information from the CRM stored in our global variables.

3. Focus on the Message

Good: "Highlight ROI benefits specifically for enterprise
{{BUYER.ACCOUNT.INDUSTRY}} companies"

Note: Length constraints are handled by your min/max settings

4. Specify Perspective

Good: "From the perspective of a {{BUYER.CONTACT.ROLE}}, describe the
daily frustrations with manual reporting in a conversational tone"

List Type Options (For Lists Only)

When creating a list, you can choose from six different formatting styles:

Text Only

Standard bullet or numbered list items

  • Simple, clean format

  • Best for straightforward lists

Question & Answer

Formats each item as:

  • Bold question

  • Regular answer below

  • Great for FAQs or clarifications

Bolded Summary List

Each item has:

  • Bold lead-in phrase - followed by description

  • Helps readability

  • Perfect for feature lists

Paragraphs with Summary

Creates paragraph blocks instead of list items:

  • Bold header

  • Detailed explanation paragraph

  • Use for in-depth points

Address Concerns

Designed for objection handling:

  • Bold concern statement

  • Solution explanation

  • Italic reassurance statement

  • Builds trust by acknowledging doubts

Feature & Benefits

Two-part format:

  • Bold feature name

  • Feature description

  • Benefit explanation

  • Ideal for product presentations

Preview and Testing

Understanding the Preview

The preview in the editor shows:

  • 🪄 Magic wand icon indicating AI content

  • Lorem ipsum placeholder text

  • Correct structure (paragraphs, lists, etc.)

  • Approximate length based on your settings

Important: This is NOT actual AI-generated content. It's a structural mockup to help you visualize layout and length.

Testing Actual Content

To see real AI-generated content:

  1. Save your template

  2. Generate a page for a specific contact through campaigns

  3. View the live page to see personalized content

  4. Each contact gets unique content based on their data

Note: You can regenerate content on the campaigns at any time. Learn more about generating prospect pages.

Troubleshooting

"Content seems generic"

  • Add more specific variables to prompt

  • Include industry/role context

  • Make instructions more detailed

  • Check that data sources are selected

"Inconsistent tone"

  • Keep your tone descriptions consistent across all blocks

  • Use the same voice throughout your page

  • Example: If one block uses "professional", use it consistently

"Too long/short"

  • Adjust min/max settings (remember, defaults are 0)

  • Try different units (words vs sentences vs paragraphs)

  • Make sure min is less than or equal to max

"Preview doesn't show real content"

  • This is normal - preview only shows structure

  • Generate actual pages to see AI content

  • Each contact gets unique content

Key Takeaways

  1. AI Text Blocks are blueprints - They generate content when pages are created, not in real-time

  2. Preview shows structure only - Lorem ipsum helps verify layout, not content

  3. No defaults - You must set all length values

  4. AI knows your settings - Format, length, and list type are automatically included

  5. Focus prompts on content - Not on formatting instructions

  6. Use available variables - Stick to {{BUYER...}} and {{SELLER...}} format

  7. List types are powerful - Six different formats for different use cases

Remember: AI Text Blocks create unique content for each contact, but they work best when combined with consistent static content and clear CTAs.
