Display collections of customer testimonials with quotes and attribution

Create collections of customer testimonials displayed as cards or in a slideshow. Each testimonial includes a quote with customer name and position for credibility.

Quick Reference

• Structure: Group container with individual testimonials

• Layouts: Card grid or slideshow carousel

Adding Testimonial Groups

Method 1: Drag from Right Sidebar

1. Click the Cards category in the right sidebar

2. Find Testimonials in the dropdown

3. Drag it onto your page where you want it

4. Type directly into the fields

Method 2: Slash Command

1. Type /testimonial on empty line

2. Group appears with one testimonial

3. Configure layout in menubar

4. Add more testimonials

Understanding the Structure

• Testimonial Group: Parent container that controls layout and styling

• Individual Testimonials: Each contains exactly three fields:

  • Quote: The testimonial text (required)

  • Name: Customer name (required)

  • Position: Job title or role (required)

Important: All three fields must be filled for a testimonial to appear on the live page. Empty testimonials are automatically hidden.

• Cards: Display all testimonials in a responsive grid

• Slider: Show one testimonial at a time with navigation

Styling Options

Click the color icon in the toolbar to customize:

• Background Color: Choose from your brand palette

• Background Opacity: Adjust transparency (0-100%)

• Text Color: Select manually or use "Auto select text color" for optimal contrast

Managing Testimonials

Click Manage Items in the toolbar to:

• Add testimonials: Click "+ Add New Item"

• Reorder: Drag testimonials to change their order

• Remove: Click the trash icon next to any testimonial

Tips for Effective Testimonials

Content Guidelines

• Be specific: Include measurable results and outcomes ("increased sales by 45%")

• Keep it real: Use authentic quotes from actual customers

• Vary your sources: Feature testimonials from different industries or use cases

• Quality over quantity: 3-6 strong testimonials are better than many weak ones

• Complete all fields: Remember, all three fields must be filled for display

• Visual hierarchy: Quote should be the most prominent element

Troubleshooting

Testimonials not appearing on live page

• Verify all three fields have content: quote, name, AND position

• Even one empty field will hide the entire testimonial

• Check in preview mode to confirm visibility

Slider navigation not showing

• You need at least 2 testimonials for navigation to appear

• Verify layout is set to "Slider" not "Cards"

• Navigation dots and arrows appear automatically when multiple testimonials exist

Text difficult to read

• Enable "Auto select text color" for automatic contrast adjustment

• Manually adjust text color if needed

• Check background opacity isn't too low (try 80-100%)

Layout issues on mobile

• Card layout automatically stacks to single column

• Slider layout maintains swipe functionality

• Test in mobile preview to ensure proper display
